So right now we live very comfortably, as far as I can tell, in a decent sized two story house. The problem is after rent, insurance and our car payment we are usually completely broke until the next month.
We live, as they say, "paycheck to paycheck".
And we want to save roughly $10k a year to go toward purchasing land.
So the plan is to move our selves back into our old barn/house in Senoia.
It looks like this ... only it has a real door now. Jealous?
Anyway rent will be a measly $400 a month. We will also have plenty of room to practice our farming, get a goat, and begin construction on our first Tumbleweed house.
The down side? Very little space, farther away from everything (Except Jennifer's job) and within sight distance from the in laws.
But ... no pain no gain, right?
After the car is paid off which will hopefully happen in the next few months we should be able to put aside $800 a month if we don't do much else.
I have also begun selling off all the things we don't need or will not be able to fit into the smaller house. (All the money will go towards the Tumbleweed houses.
Hopefully we will be able to finish the move by the end of January. I'll have to come up with a good lie to tell the in laws as to why we are moving back onto the property. They are not the most supportive of our ideas.
You'll think of something.
